During our first meeting, I'll get to know a bit about you and a bit about your writing project. We'll set out some goals, and from there, it's workshopping each new draft until the deadline or you're ready to move on. In most cases, the writer will give me access to their document over Google Docs, and I will leave comments during the offline editing time. Then, when we meet to call, the writer can share their questions, comments, and concerns with me, and I will elaborate on my feedback.
I am of the belief that there are skills to be learned and value to be gained from all types of writing. That means I'll read the next chapter of your fanfiction just as readily as an essay for history class. That being said, I am most experienced in personal essays, research essays, and other academic essays, as well as short stories.
